Overview
Alberta Innovates is the province's largest research and innovation agency, investing in entrepreneurs, industry, and researchers to diversify Alberta's economy. They needed a redesigned digital presence to better connect stakeholders with programs and funding.
The Challenge
The project required balancing the needs of diverse users — researchers, startups, established businesses, and government officials — while adhering to provincial accessibility standards and integrating with existing government systems.
The Approach
I led the wireframing and design phase, creating comprehensive user flows and wireframes for the platform. The design prioritised clear information architecture to help users quickly find relevant programs, funding opportunities, and resources for their specific needs.
