Overview
Frubix is a comprehensive field management platform built for service businesses — HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and maintenance companies. It handles everything from job scheduling and technician dispatch to invoicing and customer communication.
The Challenge
Field management involves complex workflows: dispatchers need real-time visibility, technicians need mobile-first tools on job sites, and business owners need financial reporting. Designing for three distinct user types with very different contexts and device needs was the core challenge.
The Approach
I designed the complete platform across web and mobile — dispatcher dashboard, technician mobile app, and admin reporting portal. Each interface was tailored to its user's context: dense information for dispatchers, simplified mobile flows for technicians, and high-level dashboards for owners. Our agency then developed the full product.
