Overview
Snagajob is the largest marketplace for hourly work in the United States, connecting millions of job seekers with employers. As a contract UI/UX and Product Designer, I was embedded in the product team to tackle critical UX challenges across the platform.
The Challenge
At Snagajob's scale — serving millions of hourly workers and thousands of employers — every design change had massive impact. Legacy UI flows had accumulated friction over years, and the platform needed modernised experiences that maintained the speed and simplicity hourly workers expect while meeting employer needs for qualified candidates.
The Approach
I rebuilt multiple core UI flows across the platform, backed by extensive user research and usability testing. Each redesign followed a rigorous process: stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, prototype testing with real users, and iterative refinement based on data. I worked closely with engineering and product management to ensure designs were technically feasible and aligned with business metrics.
